If you need to process a lot of records at one time, you can use the batch interface. Using excel or a similar utility, you create a file of UPC/EN numbers and (if upserting) data in comma-separated value (.CSV) format and submit it to the system. You will receive a response as a downloadable .csv file.

Batch Download
This batch feature allows appropriately authorized and authenticated users to submit a file of UPC numbers as a .csv file and to obtain any data from the database that is available in the requested language.

Batch Upsert
This batch feature allows appropriately authorized and authenticated users to submit a file of UPC data as a comma-separated value (.csv) file. CSV is a common file format that can be produced by many spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft excel. This feature can be used by sellers or manufacturers who want to upload or maintain their product information in batch. For more information, click here.

Delayed Retrieval
This batch feature enables customers who are using the Single-Transaction API to receive notification and updates when the spiders locate information for an item number that had been previously requested and returned as “not found”.

The free development tier gives you 500 free accesses to use while building your application. During development, you'll be able to read up to 100 records per day and to parse deletion and upsert requests. There is a one-time production activation charge of $99 to remove the limits and enable upsert and delete transactions. There is no minimum monthly payment and there are no rate limits on production accounts.
