Dallas, Texas April 17, 2012 Digital Miracles, L.L.C has announced that the price of Digit-Eyes has been reduced to $19.99 and that new features have been added to enable customers to access product usage and nutritional information. Digit-Eyes is a popular iPhone app that allows people without vision to scan labels with their iPhone and find the meaning of a UPC or EAN code or to create and record their own labels. Digit-Eyes provides non-visual access to a database of over 26,000,000 consumer products in 10 languages. "Many of our customers have asked us to provide content on the screen to allow them to better understand the manufacturer's recommended usage instructions for the product" said Nancy Miracle, President. "We adapted our data gathering software to identify websites that had extended product information and changed our app so that after an item is identified, abbreviated content about the item is provided, together with a link to the website where the information originated. The idea is to make it easier not only to identify the item, but to make it easier to use the product." Additionally, Digital Miracles released an upgrade to the free version of the app that allows customers to pay just $9.99 purchase the option to read UPC / EAN codes and access the product content. The option to record and play back content associated with a custom label is available for the one-time price of $9.99 and the features to read code 3-of-9 and code 128 inventory tags are available individually for $1.99 each. The entire product suite is available at the discounted price of $19.99. "Our new product structure and pricing will allow customers to select exactly those products that they want and to pay for only those features," Miracle continued. "While we believe that most customers will want the all the options, it is a plus for those that just want a single feature to only pay for that one. And whenever the person is ready to do more, the individually-purchased products can be upgraded to the full product suite." The new features are available to existing users as a free upgrade to their existing Digit-Eyes app. Contact: Nancy Miracle (817) 571-3083 marketing@digit-eyes.com www.digit-eyes.com Apple, the Apple logo, iPod and iTunes are trademarks of Apple Inc, registered in the U.S. and other countries. iPhone is a trademark of Apple, Inc. |
